Nicolas Otamendi - 2016/17 performances

In Vinny's absence we lack an organiser/leader of the defence. When we signed Otamendi I hoped he might be able to fill that role seeing as he's an experienced international defender but he's far too impetuous and focused on his own headlong dashes out of the back line to be organising anything. I wouldn't say he's shit but he was vastly overrated given the reputation he arrived with. It's no wonder we were trying to prise Bonucci from Juve last summer.
