Players like De Jong rarely get their dues. I’m a big fan, we would have conceded a lot more goals this term without him making a nuisance of himself in and around our penalty area.

Its people that dont actually look at the game that think hes shit. the ones that go "ahh tevez scored - hes a good player ... we lost - the defense are shit" ... but de Jong gives a class act each game for me. He puts his all in every game and will chase everything. His sliding is also just top notch!

except he chased their shadows, caught up to them and won us the ball back, but he didnt score a 35 yard swerving volley after taking on every player in the Arsenal side and playing a one-two with mancini so he must have been shit then

Ok. Your just one of those who after any result look straight at the bad points and have to enthasise them? too many are like that, we lose and blame is thrown everywhere. De jong has been playing exceptionally well and if you can't see that you must be blind.
