No 'buzz' from a game against the rags?

I know, there's no banter with united fans anymore. Just arrogant w"nkers who know fook all about football and suport united because what they've won and no other reason. I'd actually say I have better banter with bolton fans then the rags.

I got to honestly say I was more up for the liverpool game then I was for the game against trafford.

Its alright anyway the rags will be getting raped with there season tickets next season haha. Well done glazer, take them cocknies and paddy's for everything there worth

Something is very wrong. I just didn't get any buzz out of a derby game today. I don't think that's ever happened before.

I started a thread about the same feeling this morning.

No desire, no passion, no in their faces, no gameplan after they scored, not a derby performance from us and they could have stepped it up a gear anytime they wanted. Hughes has now managed two derby's and we've failed to look like scoring in either and our performances have been dire in both. Now this isn't a Hughes out rant because I made my feelings known the day he walked into our club and it hasn't changed once since then, but we need a manager that can stand up to the added pressure of these bastards on our doorstep. Big Mal had it the moment he came here and Sven got under Fergursons skin without even having to try, they just both had that knack. I dont want Sven back but I do want a manager that is big enough to handle this club, its all well and good beating WBA, Blackburn and an uninterested wembley bound Everton but today was altogether different. I didn't expect us to wipe the floor with them because at the end of the day they are a quality side but what disappointed me was our own attitude and performance in defeat.

We're miles away from genuine success both on and off the pitch.

Yeah, I saw that mate & thought it was strange that you felt that way. Then I realised that I felt the same way. I don't get it.

I feel the same way to.

I felt nothing. There was just nothing. It was a reflection of what was on show. No die hard run your heart out performances out there today.

I agree
it was a gutless effort, every time we got the ball I'm screaming go forward and attack and we we slow the game down and go backwards, absolutely no passion in both derby games this year,
Not sure what the team talk was or game plan but it was dreadful,

Never mind I'll be here longer than Hughes

City til I die

I understand it fully frm my point of view but when I admit it the majority of people cant accept it, I don't expect others to neccessarily agree with my feelings but at the end of the day I can't abide with every fucking emotion in my body an ex-rag managing this club, it goes against the grain of everything I was brought up and taught about City v United. Fair enough others may disagree and I wouldn't abuse them for that but its the way I feel and the sooner he goes for me the sooner the buzz will come back.

I definately felt this way after the first game too

i think, ummm, I'm not entirely comfortable with the level of respect that people are showing utd. Hughes called them the best in the world... well... ok.... Ireland compares himself to giggs and scholes....hmmm...could've found another example surely.....and the I swear some of our fans seem to think that the only way to achieve success is to ape everything that UTD do down to the last detail... like i say, too much respect. someone has to come at this with a fresh angle, we need our own blueprint for success, aping someone else is always the wrong way to go around it, because for one thing it always misses that the approach you are aping was something that developed amongst different circumstances, at a different time, amongst different people. the key to success is NOT following a blue print. it's developing something that's right for you.

fuck utd

fuck fergie

we cant beat them by copying them

It used to be that the derby games were our main chance of glory in a typical season but we know that we are on the way up and soon they will be on the way down.
