No 'buzz' from a game against the rags?

Didn't see a tackle in anger! Seemed passionless from both sides.

The ref wasn't allowing tackles.....booked Ireland for the first one in anger.

Be interesting to hear what the guys who went have to say. It's always difficult to tell when you're not at the game, but it sounded pretty quiet in the ground.

I was their in the little south stand bit right next to their fans, the atmosphere didn't feel like it has before, and apart from one or two mouthy twats in their end it was all very hospitable.

I think City sensed it was not going to be our day and their lot sat there with the expectancy as ever. They are a strange bunch and if that is the way to watch football then I don't think I'd bother going.

Also after the home derby, it just didn't feel right. A few people came out saying that it was a weird game. Not sure as to the reason, if it's that we don't view it in the same way, the Hughes factor or the players not being up for it and flying in as you would expect.

i think we did fly in a bit to begin with today, but after 10 minutes everyone started to look at each other as if to say, umm, ok, how are we supposed to get at them?

just got back and have to say i have never been bored at a derby before today, like watching paint dry.

toothless going forward, too much respect given to them.

couldn't wait for game to end.

every now and then i have this forlorn hope that we might try something different but same old, same old - just too predictable.

well all i can expect from skool 2mz is all the rags (90% of my mates) to be gloating till the day we leave now

we outsung the rags for most of the first half...they only started singing when they went 1-0 up and even then it was very sporadic

we (fans) were quiet for large parts of the second half even though we had more of the ball.....the rags really only started singing in the last 10 mins and even then it was not about how good utd are but more how bad city are....bless them....every other voice outside the ground was feckin irish
