No Manchester C o A on the FA Cup final shirt

That reply from Ian Howard makes me optimistic about this being realised. Sign the petition everyone :D

That email from the club was sent before the FA Cup shirt went up on the web site.

Even if the club don't allow COA on shirts to be on general sale I would hope special edition for players and on blazers, to be auctioned off for charity afterwards would be class. Anyway I have signed petition.

Our current badge isn't really "Manchester City" though...

We'll put 3 stars on there, which are universally recognised as World Cup wining markings - but we'll do it 'just for decoration'.

I can't the issue with continuing tradition, as SWP's Back said "i wouldn't lose sleep over it, but it is a dissapointing decision; commerciality shouldn't come into a heritage decision.

Another final nail in the coffin of the "we'll keep the grass roots connections of this club, build on them and respect the history" - as Cook said right from the beginning.

Not sure that your 3rd line reads correctly (or atleast I can't fathom it).
I think it should read; "i can't see the/any issue with continuing tradition..."

I just can't type!

Signed. Number 275.
Lets hope the club will understand that we feel strongly about this. Most City fans follow the club because we follow on from our parents and love the club because it is our identity. This tradition has stood since my great granddad was watching the blues, the club should understand its importance and add the C of A as a matter of urgency, there should be no silly petty modern rule to get in the way of our great club's heritage.

Here's a taster. Couldn't find our current kit as a template so had to get a new collar on it. You get the basic idea though:

Fail to see how this will be taken seriously when 'jrb' has signed five times in the last 100 signatures, hardly credible if repetitive signatures are going on there, or those from other pseudonyms for that matter, such as signatures number 411, 391 and 376 and it goes on and on all the way through the list......

Already highjacked by rags and made a mockery of and the total signatures given the above is a false figure as well so its not eve gathering the actual momentum you think it is.

Someone has even added my username and I'm against it-not credible in the slightest!
