No-one passing to Haaland.

It's every game now. He makes runs after runs after runs. No one ever passes to him or even attempts to. Its pissing me off. Can't imagine how he's feeling.

He's 7ft tall ffs. Chip it to him more often. It's driving me insane watching all the wasted opportunities.

Is anyone else getting as frustrated with this as I am?
No. One he is pretty poor at heading ...2 its easier to make the man on the ball get his head down. To clip a blow over the top is easier at low level. Prem players close you down so quickly hence we llay on the deck, five to ten yard pssses. Having Haaland as good as he is in counter artcking teams he just can't really excel for us. As a TEAM we will score less rest of players will get fked off...oh hold on a minute...its happening now. Sell quick to Real..i truly believe Pep didn't really want him. You need fivevdifferent players to accomodate him. One reason Pep looks so fed up in think.

When he scored his 25 league goals did he dribble alone past the whole opposition team or did somebody pass to him ?

So he’s been passed to successfully 8 times more than his nearest rival.

Ignore the media shite from morons desperate to put a bad spin on the best transfer of the decade.
No but against easier, nieve and frankly lazy opposition, Wolves b4 new manager sorted them is a good example ..out of the 25 goals realistically how many were against this type of oppo. Now they all know. Close KDB immediately. Surely we can all see you cant simply pass to Haaland anymore.. we need triangles. Rotation, overlaps, cut backs, deep lying mids attacking late in the box. Basically anything but a 7ft number nine. Hecwill becamaxing atvReal...just not a Pep player or City team.player with current players

I was at the game and had a very good view behind the goal.

It was noticeable how determined and strong when Spurs players (like Kane Kulu Højbjerg) fought in the box when the chances came. Always someone ran to the front, middle and back.

But on us neither Halaand or Alvarez showed that strength and determination. They rushed to hide at the far post whenever the teammates on the wide area prepared to cross.

No one was willing to make a scarification to occupy the front defenders to cause chaos in the box. No one occupy Eric Dier and let him have a comfortable day.

In the last minutes the best chance came from Rodri fighting for that header. Where was Halaand? He was behind Rodri. Very disappointing.

If you play on the pitch you know it is easy to make some runs. It looks good on television. But football is not racing. The real hard part is winning duels shoulder to shoulder. Stop running away from defenders.

Our forwards just did not dare to come close to that twat Cristian Romero and all rushed to the other side. They feared. They were not aggressive enough.

Say anything about Gundo and Grealish. Gundo has back problems. Grealish has a biscuit shin. But Gundo dared to fight for the header and Grealish put his leg out to win the 50 50. So we got the first goal against Spurs 2 weeks ago.

That is the old good story. Halaand and Alvarez need to adapt to PL and learn how to fight shoulder to shoulder with the strongest defenders. There are not so much space to run into, sons. Get your clothes dirty. Show some courage.

You can't deny we need to feed him more than we currently are. There's no directness, why can't we slip it to his feet or clip it over the top now and again? Granted it's not how city have played for the past few years but something has got to change. I think our forms nothing to do with Haaland at all, we just look sluggish and predictable.

He’s scored 31 but I can’t remember the last time Grealish, KDB, Silva, Gundogan, Rodri or anyone but Mahrez and Ake scored. Our strength used to goals all round. Now it’s stop Haaland stop us. Which seems pretty easy to do
Because now Halaand occupy the "best" scoring position. Eg: back post behind one dummy teammate. Last year our front guys took turns there.

Having Halaand up front also means the other teammates taking more defensive responsibility.

Noticeable our wide men drop deeper and stay wider - further away from the goal.

I don't care if Halaand scores or not. He needs to put on some effort to make this team better. Creating chances and occupying defenders for his teammates. Kane is the fine example. Look at how much defensive work Kane put in.

Grealish takes 15 seconds to do something he could of done in 5 seconds. And at that point the momentum has been killed in the attack. Its very frustrating.

Carragher saying Haaland should have moved to Utd instead, dipper twat.
Dwight Yorke on Carraghers comments:

“When Haaland was scoring all his goals before, everyone was talking about how good he is at Manchester City, now he has not scored in one game, Haaland has signed for the wrong team.

“What a load of waffle from Carragher, you also have one of the best passers in the world in Kevin De Bruyne in the team too, they just have to see Haaland's runs more. There is a simple solution, just play the ball in the space.”

These numbers are approximate. He scores Three kind of goals. 3 or 4 this year have been penalties. 4 or 5 have been running at or through defence and receiving the right ball from behind him. All the rest are penalty box goals where he receives a cross or pass and is able to score from close range based on his predatory instinct. The second category is the most interesting as it is this type where the passes gave dried up.
