Minus £5 for my mum and £1 for me = £34.

mate i can't be arsed anymore i think it's wrong of the club (which without the fans wouldn't fuckin exist) to treat genuine fans prepared to pay £20 the way they are by not offering a refund and you think it's perfectly fine to fuck fans over whilst at the same time allowing anyone who wouldn't go to a game ever unless it was a fiver to profit(because i'd say 99% of city regulars already had their ticket)....thats fine to have your opinon and i'll stick with mine.

that's abit of a cold response. not really one that would encourage further sales ? i think if the club were smart they would do well not to piss off loyal blues by giving it the "tough shit" attitude when we havent made it yet.

Looking at the replies on this thread there is a very small minority who would boycott the club for the sake of one ticket, their excuse is that there were other offers which you didn't take up on, and the fiver offer has only been around for a few days.
Why the need to mention the "we haven't made it yet" regardless of whether we have or haven't I would still go if the prices changed.

i am a blue. have been all my life and cos i'm a blue i was prepared to pay full price. those who werent prepared to pay it got it cheap.some of them may never be prepared to pay full price and might never ever go again unless its £5. or are the club going keep making the loyal blues subsidize the part timers ?.

all i ask is that i get treated the same. or are all the newbies more importants than those of us who have always been here ?

1) It happened last season with the Everton game.

2) It is fine. I buy a ticket straight away so I always lose out however I would rather sit in a stadium with more fans in it and unlike the OP and you, I am not some precious little twat that cares more about me getting the best deal and ensuring that no one gets anything cheaper than me, than I am about the stadium having a better atmosphere.

3) It has now happened twice, if you got stung both times, tough shit, you now know it may happen again.

4) YOU CALL ME SELFISH!??? You don't know the meaning of the word sunshine. How is it selfish to not care if someone pays less than you? You are the selfish bastard and you know it or are not wise enough to understand.

As for being labelled a tout, it is simply the economic model of supply and demand.

point 1 - i know it happened last season too, my point was until we as a club got a load of money, it never happened at all.


point 2 - did you fucking read my post where i said i'm on the cup scheme, i got to every home match and have done for 18 fucking years, so where did i say i care about getting the "best deal"? my points were that is is unfair of the club not to refund the difference to others, or they should advertise when they first go on sale that a percentage will be sold at a fiver when only a week to go.

point 3 - again, did you read? i haven't got stung, i'm a season ticket holder so the everton game was part of my season ticket and this one was free in the 3 for 2.

As for a couple of others who quoted my post - no i'm not sat here hitting refresh, i checked once, and am now logging off to nip out then go to the match. YOU may be sat hitting refresh, as some of you have a billion posts and obviously spend all day sat doing just that.

The club have changed their policy since we got "loaded", things change. Some fans that couldn't afford the game, now can. How is that bad? It isn't.

pretty harsh on the club for having a go at them for lowering prices. I got my ticket for £1, but i have been offered loads of free tickets the past few days. im not calling the club for my £1 back!
