Nobody giving Sunderland credit??

We had no chances as we have no creativity or pace through the middle

I must of been seeing things then when Yaya broke through the middle to create Tevez his chance?

I agree he's not quite up to speed with the Prem game yet but he showed when he's 100% fit what we have to come......................

I haven't JUST joined, I joined last season after a defeat to congratulate you so I'm not here to gloat. I thought had Tevez put that chance away in the first half, it could have got a bit messy as the last ten minutes of the first half we were really hanging on. Credit has to be given, we held on and came out in the 2nd half and had a bit of a go at you. I'd have quite happily settled for a point. The last ten minutes I think we deserved a break and luckily we got one after Richards(who looks suspect to me) pulled Bent down.

City will not lose many games this season but I'm glad you lost that one as 3 points is a massive boost for us. All the best for the rest of the season and we'll see you at the COMS.

Can`t argue with that makem..............ps ..look after Neddy

Don't worry mate, we shall do. He looks a good signing for us albeit on loan. If keeps putting in 100% performances(which is all I ask for) and shows the quality he has he'll be given a fantastic reception if he decided he wanted to go back to City at the end of the season. Would rather see him stay at the SOL though!

This is why I said shit fans etc. Only joined after their victory. Yes I am gutted because we lost but fair play to them. Just pisses me off that they come on the forum simply to gloat. BTW was the ground full today? NO SEE SHIT FANS.

You're a moron mate. Sunday afternoon, a match many thought Man City would boss. The turnout wasn't great but its a hell of a lot better than most Prem teams. 6th best average last season for attendance, not far off your lot. Bearing in mind we struggle alot and yous have fancy new signings on display all the time, its hardly a huge disappointment.

Look back to before your arab man came in, your average attendance was worse in 07/08 than ours. So that says it all. Success brings the crowds, as does fancy new names.

I do like Man City and think a lot of you speak good sense and seems to be a fair bit of sportsmanship and realism on this board after the game today. But this guy is an idiot.

Spot on mate & well said, I couldn't have put it better myself.

FFS, If I have come across as arrogant then I am sorry. Black cat when I mentioned fans coming onto this forum I really was not having a go at you personally, hence I pointed that out.
With all respect, with the money we have spent and with the ambition of the club we should have put the game beyond all doubt in the first half.
The second half I thought was a good open game and with slightly blue tinged specs a draw would have been a fair result. Bruce alluded to the fact that everyone wants to beat City, so to your players it was a cup final.
There is no point in a dick measuring contest which I will hold my hands up and say I instigated.
I too Joe Mercer have enjoyed the hospitality up there at Roker park. I have very fond memories of the Roker Park Hotel.
So to Black Cat and anyone else sorry for being an arse.

We had the chances we should have buried them. That said luck did not go for us. Hopefully this will galvanize the team. Bent is off side for the Penalty.

Alright mate, well in that case I relent a little on what I just that minute (before seeing this) posted in the other thread. As for what you say about the money & ambition of your club, they are both key factors however they're not the only 2 ingredients needed to build a title winning side, although I'm sure you know this.

Course they aren't, there are a whole heap of factors. We as City fans are just getting used to the antipathy towards our beloved club, just as Chelsea had to do, possibly why you got the reaction you did. Honestly we are the same fans as the typical City threads show, but we have to aclimatise too. ometimes I still have to pinch myself!
If you don't take your chances and don't score you can't complain. Still not sure about Roy Keane tho :)
Enjoy the rest of your season and I promise when you post again I won't come across as being a total t***.
