£14M not a bad price for decent back up player in this market.

I can see the appeal at that price, a bit like Navas in the sense that he'd be a squad option who offers a specific job that others don't. Not world class, but a different option that offers something different to the other players. An out and out left winger, direct, runs at people and in behind, scores goals. I don't see him as a Navas replacement because they play almost exclusively on the opposite wing to each other and he cuts inside while Navas goes down the line. A useful option off the bench as we don't have much direct running in the squad

Would be a decent squad player for the price,nothing more. More of a mid table club signing. Never been overly impressed when watching him in La Liga. The type of player I couldn't care less if we signed or not as he wont make a big difference to what we have.

He isn't a midtable signing. Barcelona desperately wanted him and I think were very close to signing him as well. He is a good player. People are clutching at straws if they think that the 2 month out is something to worry about. There are hardly any players who go through the full season playing every game and staying fit. Calm down. Is it a signing we need? Guess not, unless Navas moves, but then again Nolito seems a LW than a RW, so I don't really see him competing with Navas. Maybe he will play the Left wingback role?
