I knew that was gonna be a rourke. Lovely.

Went into a small bike shop today to have a look at the Cube Peloton race. Wasn't too keen on the red bits on it.

Anyway guy in the shop says I can have the upgrade model in a lovely blue and black colour and full carbon for the same price as the peloton. Knocking me off about £300. Plus he says I can either have it stock built or upgrade anything I want on it for big discounts too.

So heading back tomorrow and seeing what can be done.

Its the 2013 Cube Agree GTC. Always buy my bikes this time a year when the new models come out. Some bargains on older models now

You might want to look at the wheel set as I think the DT CSW RA1.0 might be not up to the spec of the rest of the bike. Nice bike though ;-)

Cheers Gelson

Went back today for a proper look and just said 'fuck it' to the guy and bought it haha. Not felt this excited since getting my Specialised Allez 4 years ago and my giant 2 years before.

First ever full carbon bike and I can't wait until I pick it up next week. Going for a full fitting on it too which usually costs a fortune at most shops.

He let me have it for £1000 (£250) off the usual price in there. Plus he is upgrading (or downgrading depending on most road cyclist snobs) me to a triple crankset too. Felt this would be a necessity for the Alps next year.

As for the wheels my Specialised has the older version and they have done me fine for 4 years. Wheels are the one thing I will upgrade in future but happy with the purchase at the moment.

I'm a Bianchista by choice and it pisses me off no end when they abandon the celeste or neutral colours for a flash o' shite!
