Doesn't look as though there is going to be a club crest in the seating

Looks that way, however in that central section there maybe room.... this is just a wild arse guess, but I've noticed the club have restored the circular CITY motif (from the 1960s) in recent media content. Maybe thats the design, imho it would look okay and better than nowt...

I'm not so keen on the roof layout with the middle sections longitudinal and the ends panels transverse. Hopefully it'll look better when completed

It's the very end pieces at the front of the roof that don't mirror each other that are doing my head in

With the end Perspex on the ends on one side they have kept the straight edge on the main beam and the other side they have put the straight edge on the angled end beam

You could say the same about Laings and we know how that turned out on the South stand.

To be fair looking at the circular fixings at the top of the other ones I suspect this is just a temporary piece. None the less good for a few humorous comments...

As it is at the moment, the outer parts of the roof coverings do look a dog's breakfast, much worse than the wonkey roof

No, they are also removing the crest on the outside facade facing onto the new City Square, unfortunately.

It’ll be so the whole area looks ‘neutral’ to those using the new square when going to a coop live gig. They won’t want those people feeling like like they’re entering a City fanzone.

Imo that's exactly what it should feel like. I suppose they got the PR mileage out of the visuals with the crest on them now though at least.
