I'm less certain of who actually paid now but it was Brooklands Development Ltd (a wholly owned City company) who applied for the preparatory ground works in 2011.Not true I’m afraid. The decontamination of the Clayton Aniline site was carried out at public expense, before City took over, as no one would touch it without remediation.
