Ahh, I didn't know there were that many amputees in the south stand. If that was me I'd stay in a lower tier, it's a long hop down to collect a leg.

The build schedule can go tits up as we all know. Look at the Coop Live Arena. The Manchester Town Hall refurbishment is now 2 years behind schedule. It was supposed to be finished by 2024. It’s now looking like 2026.

Always different when using tax payer money though.

The planners' report isn't on the portal yet, where are they getting what the recommendation is from? It should come as no surprise really, but I have known PNW to get a few things wrong over the years, they don't exactly fact check.

Yeah saw that, but the report itself with the recommendation isn't up yet. Coming up to a week lead-up so will no doubt appear soon.

Well you've got a good long wait until the first game anyway so food and water may be your first concern.

And to make it worse they are Turkish contractors from Istanbul doing the building work

Nothing stupid about that mate, I would say it's all prep works before the start of the actual construction work.

Thats all part of the enabling works along with moving North stand entrances, it been done as it doesnt need planning permission

It does. And it has one. Part of the club shop works and general improvements which has been approved separately.

I'm not well up on planning but i didnt think things like, moving turnstiles, isolation and taking down temp structures required planning permissions.

Exciting to think we’ll actually see steel going up this year. It’s starting to feel so real.
