North Stand Construction Discussion

£500/£600 will only cover a few games.

West Ham.

Nothing left for Arsenal, Leeds or Chelsea.
They aren’t Joes or 93:20 which is what these 600 seats look like again you are confusing premium seat blocks with hospitality. Thought we established 93:20 , where you buy your drinks a food just like on the concourses and same prices but in a seperate bar area was about £500 per season more than the same level 2 season ticket, but with up 3 cup games included. Joes slightly more.

City will be trialing shuttle buses themselves over the coming months. Maybe electric ones to tie in with their eco-friendly push.

Glad they may have read my posts about having their own fleet of electric buses if this is what it might be?
I hope they do but we will need a lot of buses and they will need to be available well after the game finishes. One reason so many people leave the ground earlly now is it is the only way they can find a space on a bus or tram. The document does not inspire confidence in terms of transport options.

There’s always a place for hospitality at the Etihad, but the front of NSL2 isn’t the place for it.

Absolutely. It’s ridiculous people are arguing about this point as well.

No one is saying we shouldn’t have hospitality seats or corporate sections, but the front of a home end isn’t the place. It should be the atmospheric area of the ground and the ticket prices should reflect that - similar to ss1 or ss3

Remove the 600 odd corporate seats from the plan. It’s not exactly controversial.

I’m asking the question.

Is it premium seating with hospitality?

To me it looks like a normal bar setting where food and drink can be purchased at an additional cost.

Welcome to Manager's Corner, a place to enjoy authentic Mediterranean food and drink in a casual, social setting inspired by City's great managers.

The line-up includes pizzas from the pizza oven, charcuterie small plates, plus regularly changing wines and craft ales.

From interiors to service, everything has been strategically organised into a winning formation for a memorable matchday.

Nobody knows what the price point of the hospitality section will be at the front of NSL2. But I’ll start you off by guessing the price could be £100 upwards depending on the match for a padded seat, where food and drink can be purchased at an additional cost.

Non of us expected this for the front of the home end we’ve been hoping for and asking for for years.

No it’s non of that, 93:20 , for a start is almost all S/c holders, with a handful of match day ticket sales, you get a padded seat and a programme.
You get admittance to a bar area where the food is pies , burgers, etc. all priced to buy at roughly the same price as the concourses.
The S/C is about £500 more than the same ordinary level 2 block.
As I say slightly more expensive again mainly S/C with a couple more perks.

Look!

I’ve got absolutely nothing against City fans who want do hospitality. If they want to do that good for them. I’ve done it on a few occasions myself and I‘ve enjoyed the experience, bar the lack of atmosphere.(you don’t go there for the atmosphere)

But to propose shoehorning a 648 seater hospitality section at the front of NSL2 is a kick in the tenth for the GA’s who have wanted and campaigned on here, across other City social media websites, and via fans groups for a proper home end filled the GA’s who want to support the team.

Just to clarify again. I don’t have a problem with the suites at the back of L2 or the L3 restaurant, bar and seats.
