North Stand Construction Discussion

Doesn't make any difference, would still have to be a circular stadium.
Also the seat behind you would have to be in front of you.
Not if it's being measured from different points on the centre circle.
But I did mention it was bollocks.
It's possible the back rows of the CB and East stands were the same distance from the centre circle as the back rows of the other two stands when the ground opened but obviously this changed when the south stand was extended.

The Gene Kelly was entirely due to us moving grounds, there was not point investing in major capital works and by the time they were complete having one year left. They were mobile formula one event seats and did okay for 2 years, and one in the Kippax/Platt corner for the mini GK.

^ This. I’d assume the whole new Kippax development was hardly a viable exercise given the time it was in use but I think the club did ask for dispensation to keep standing but it was declined, so we had little choice but to press on with the Kippax redevelopment.

But it ended up 80/85, more according to @Worsleyweb so that was fact.
I am sure he is right he is apparently and ITk and prices go up but I haven’t seen the actual costs ever quoted anywhere just the original estimated 50 million in reputable media and not so reputable but presumably from people at the club so you could argue it carries more weight than anyone posting on here

Lets forget about this now and all eat humble PI

I've never seen the 50 million quote before, just the 85 after it was finished

Off topic, but what has been discussed recently, construction costs.

Everton FC’s dire financial position has been eased slightly with the receipt of more than £100m towards construction of its new Bramley-Moore Dock stadium.

The 52,888-capacity development has soared in cost from £500m to £760m.
£100m from where?
