Pity it wasn’t like this when the roof to the hotel was being put on. There was standing water under the membrane in some areas.

Stunning flight this week @ssskies - amazing detail!

I think that one of the purlins has been installed the wrong way round. The top surface of the upstands which will take the skywalk platform are all parallel apart from this one. I think it needs rotating through 180°

The Rusty Beam should erected where the B of the Bang used to be, and named B of the North Stand Beam.

Amazon how they calculate the exact length of each cable. If a cable is out by a few mil it’s not as though you can stretch it to fit!

Both crossed my mind, but both gables are miles away from their boundaries for fire. The blockwork is to the Alan Turning Way side, but again the distance and it being a gable with any form of an external wall should be more than enough to deal with the traffic, particularly with a screen on top of that as well.

The one facing Alan Turing way has really baffled me ! Especially as you can see concrete blocks waiting stacked inside ! As someone who worked 40 years in the building trade I’m completely confused , plus the one facing the co op arena is still unfinished not good for my OCD (-;

I've seen inner leaves built that way from the inside. But only when there is no space for access etc. They've got loads of space. Avoided scaffolding on both gables, but the two being different has always had me a bit curious.

Wondered myself, thought it was something to do with what the immediate space is being used for e.g bedrooms, catering or utility
