I doubt the screen will be used in any noise calculations. Surely must be for noise issues from Alan Turing Way? There is the overhang on the north facing gable but I can't see why that would affect it. There are differences in the first 2 or 3 levels in space usage but above that it's all hotel rooms. The only other possible reason (although unlikely I know) is that there is a fire core nearer to the east pointing gable? Both crossed my mind, but both gables are miles away from their boundaries for fire. The blockwork is to the Alan Turning Way side, but again the distance and it being a gable with any form of an external wall should be more than enough to deal with the traffic, particularly with a screen on top of that as well.
Externally it will be the most impressive stadium end in English football, due to it's sheer size and scale, with the 3000 capacity fan zone, and the 2, 9 and 8 story claws.
Internally it will struggle to beat the Spurs end, but over two tiers, and a massive 8000 capacity 2nd tier, it will be one of the best looking home ends in English football.
sisk done their bit,the fans will do theirs now the club needs to market the new stand correctly and they will fill itExternally it will be the most impressive stadium end in English football, due to it's sheer size and scale, with the 3000 capacity fan zone, and the 2, 9 and 8 story claws.

Na the core is two rooms and a whole bay away in from the gable. Nothing in sound or fire that can't be dealt with without blockwork.I doubt the screen will be used in any noise calculations. I agree.Inside the bowl it will definitely have a unique look. It will also add personality to the present offering because we will have a design where every stand doesn’t look the same.
Hi All, video from today here. Cheers
Is the new roof going to be extended forwards to create the same cover as the existing roof. If so I assume this will be some lightweight clear material. It just looks odd at the moment being so shallow.
There are still more to be added to the roof trusses this maybe because the weight of them was at the limit of the cranes so, once the pitch side site is ready they will add the extensions the cladding is translucent to aid grass growthIs the new roof going to be extended forwards to create the same cover as the existing roof. They need to get the pitch protection sort first then the cranes in the cladding will be first off before they remove the trusses so don’t see much happening to the actual roof for a day or soAnother great video - thanks @ssskies. I reckon they will be itching to get on the pitch after the final whistle blows on Tuesday night (whilst KDB is still doing his lap of honour). If you can get down early morning on Wednesday 21st the old roof will probably already be being removed.
