That was the indoor cricket place "Stumps" which was mainly used for indoor football 7 days a week and then they used it for their academy. It had a bar in the early 1990s on the right as you went in, and it was cheap.

It certainly gives you a clearer prospective of the size of the footprint of what’s about to occur and the co-op arena looks huge compared to previous drone footage. Going to be spectacular when everything is completed. You lucky bastards.

They wanted to knock down the Ataturk Stadium and redevelop it into a purpose built football stadium to host the final. Wonder if they would actually tarmac the car park for it?
They still want to attempt a joint bid with Italy for 2032. Istanbul seemed to have traffic jams at 4am round Taksim square the Sunday morning after the champions league final. Doubt they would get those problems sorted in time.
