Ridiculous mark up for a £14 ticket. I get why but doesn’t make it any better. That’s why I try and sell to OSC members or privately before using Ticket Exchange. Why ?

Ticket transfer system is a belting way to make sure tickets are passed on. I've about 40 people on my Friends and Family list. Not ticket holders on the standard membership. Any season ticket holder not going we just WhatsApp out for someone to take it for the Ticket Exchange or upgrade price. Works like a charm.Ridiculous mark up for a £14 ticket. We are the best team on the planet yes, but we won’t always be. Disenfranchising your regular match going supporters in the pursuit of ever more corporate/tourists is such a short sighted approach, dreamt up by people who probably know they won’t be at the club when the inevitable downturn arrives. There's a big market for it, which will grow with the continued decline of the rags. Would you want to go watch them lose at home to Copenhagen whilst eating a pork chop, sat next to a bucket collecting the rain from the leaky roof or come to City and watch the best players in the best facilities? If they club can push it and increase the revenues in order to give back to the rest of the fans that would be an ideal scenario. Sadly we've seen incremental price rises for all fans, although you can appreciate the club thinking it's still fair value considering we're the best team on the planet.
City are a business, if we want to attract the best players in the world it costs money, the guy got his money back for the ticket and city sold it as corporate, brilliant, win win win...Ridiculous mark up for a £14 ticket. The Real Madrid fiasco was a case in point, regular supporters were disregarded by the club for that game and now we’re seeing group stage games with empty seats again as a lot of those supporters are thinking what’s the point, it’s only going to get worse when we’ve got an extra group game and 8,000 more seats to fill.
Somebody at the club needs to think long term and get a grip of this, there has got to be a better balance between increasing revenues in the short term and looking after the fanbase long term.
City don't do anything short sighted, I'd have thought any Blue would have worked that out by now.We are the best team on the planet yes, but we won’t always be.
