North Stand Construction Discussion

Boy, Did they have a struggle to get this one to fit!seem to be using scaffold tubes to lever it in position.
Scaffold tubes probably wouldn’t be strong enough, it must be tricky to get an exact alignment when the truss is hanging many metres in the air.

This is Mr Drone “where is co-op live” , I knew this had happened but didn’t say anything but seeing as it’s now public knowledge.
But it does show we have to careful about where we fly, they seized his drone and found the dodgy flights in the flight logs on the controller.

Do you know how high above the 400ft limit he was? There must be a decent tolerance, as you don’t set the local pressure on a drone. For the CAA to go after him, it must’ve been a significant altitude bust.

Also, aren’t most drones Geofenced?

He was 300ft over on one flight, but only a few feet over on the Bramley Moore one.
I was speaking to him yesterday at Bramley Moore, they came after him after he put a video out of the police pulling him and questioning him about his drone use.
He then got pulled a few days later and they took his drones off him.
You can just turn the height limit off in the drone settings and click ok that you accept you may be flying illegally.
Also most geofences especially ones over stadiums got removed last year.

That’s what the Merseyside police are good at, I know they can’t locate Bus Wreckers.

I'm amazed they even noticed - he does come across as a bit of a dipstick - the very fact he has to have himself in his videos is a tell tale - as a (lapsed) drone flyer myself I'm fully aware of the tight band of acceptability (height and range) that has to be adhered to - thats why you sit the bl**dy exam each year - also why I'm lapsed, mine was an old Parrot 2 drone which is way over the 250g limit

Good footage from Mr Drone

Does anyone know how likely it is for them to make the roof more of an oval I.e to further increase capacity be extending the corners?
