Just caught up on the last couple of days' worth of video updates.
Why on earth is the entire western elevation of the office dead? Every single bay there is solid backing panels, and insulation going in. No reason at all that all of it, most of it, or even at least some of it couldn't have been clear glazing. Even where the cores are there is enough of an offset for clear glass as a corridor. Do they not want daylight or views on that side at all? It is also different to what has been approved. Bizarre.
They have already removed two of the angled temporary props on either side outwards working in. They seem to put the end beam piece and remove the prop to each beam as they go.
With the pitch protective covering going on and the seats to the bottom temporarily removed, can't be long till the old roof starts coming fully off.
The steel truss below the linking bridge to the commercial buolding will stay exposed, unlike on the hotel side. This will also hide the 'mini-bridge' at L3 where the geometey soesnt line up with the above.
