North Stand Construction Discussion

So is the museum just the one floor ? In one of the images it appears to be 2 floors which could explain the solid western elevation ??
On the original submission, the commercial L02 level is the museum (note that the lowest level is L00). L003 is the football experience (whatever that is). Those 2 are the windowless west facing facade, it's office space above that and will, presumably, all be glazed.

L00 & L01 are down as retail and besides the concrete bits will also be (presumably) glazed.

I do remember @Coatigan saying that there had been an amendment around the museum/experience levels for usage but can't recall the details right now.

They effectively lost a floor of office and gained a floor of retail, shifting everything up a level.

And introduced a number of voids in the floor plates.

Is it not the next one along though that looked not in line with the rest?

Unless it is part of the circle shape for the platform
Same one they flagged previously, it seems to have had tape attached when they first posted as well.

We don't really know. The floors are down as retail/commercial/office. The actual portions have changed late in the process, reducing the office and increasing the retail. I did a summary previously of the amended scheme, can't be bothered looking back now. Could assume above that it will all be clear glazing for the offices.

Again, I'm sure it is all thought out and as planned. Just odd how late it is all happening relative to the approved scheme. And also that they are so rigid with it to commit to effectively a permanent blanking on those floors. Possibly more.
Understand that Puma got involved at a late stage and their wishes delayed the building, this was probably the additional floor with the atrium at the end. Spoke to one of the tour guides who have been shown the plans for the museum and virtual experience said it looks amazing, VR works better without windows the cameras don't like the reflections

The crane on the pitch is technically not a mobile crane but a Truck Mounted Crane. Mobile Cranes normally have just 4 wheels and can carry a load whilst being driven in any direction, the number of crane variations is huge.

Thanks for the close up shots of the crane trying to identify the crane model number.

I should have added the crane model number is on the side of the crane facing the North stand.

I doubt either of you would have been able to film that as the crane is too close to the stand, and just under the roof.

When the crane faces the North stand taking the old roof off, that may give you both the opportunity to film the crane model number?

I'm not, thanks anyway for your attempts to film the crane model number. :-)
