I see, yeah might be on the collar site thread. In which case yeah, all that woukd presumably be included in that.

Found this which is what I was remembering, these are ones under consruction now, don't know whether the JMW will be done as part of after this and the landscaping is finished.

Probably not mate.

But you'd think with the North stand redevelopment being done, City would light up the masts again to finish the Etihad stadium off completely and properly.

You never know, City might do it during or after the North stand redevelopment has been completed?

It would be great to see the masts lit up again, as they were a landmark in the Manchester night sky, and a marker for the Etihad stadium.

I’ve said for a while now, I don’t think we’re very good at attention to detail.

- The way the south stand corners were left untouched for 10 years.
- The fading fake grass around the pitch.
- The poor finish to the new south stand interior.
- The still exposed terracing from the removed front 3 rows (looks rough af).
- The mish mash of old and new seats with differing shades of blue.
- The uneven surface outside the stadium full of dips etc.
- Some blue lights on the spirals working and some not.

The investment and overall infrastructure is incredible but I just wish the attention to detail matched it.

I've done some last year, will pop one on here. For me, my videos will soon become night ones due to work and time constraints. Cheers this one was the 22nd Nov 2024

Its actually easier as you can see the flashing lights on them at night whereas they don't show up in the day. I also put a white strobe on the back of the drone to make it even easier. There are no different restrictions for a night flight than during the day.
I have done one tonight on my way home from filming ironically a drone light show.
Will get it uploaded now

Sorry it was a wasted journey, even though you still got some good shots of the Etihad, the Hotel, and the Offices.

Maybe it was completely dark at the Etihad as it was the weekend with no matches, everyone is away, and nothing was going on onsite?

At least you got a great shot of the Manchester city centre skyline with all the red aircraft warning on the towers.

Very odd nothing lit up , those spirals had lights on and the the pitch lights on and hotel and stand etc .
Maybe what I saw was some sort of health and safety test ?
