I questioned it being ready for the start of 2025/26 and was told by "informed" posters there wasn't much to do and it could be.
It would be quicker not to open the stand at all this season and get the rest of it ready. Matches slow things down, and I reckon they would have thought the whole lot would be more or less PC before the time lost in June/July to the pop concerts.
There are no additional matched possible this season after the Madrid game, which helps them plan better, but I can't see it open next month, as it would cost construction days.
Fwiw, you weren't 'told', or if you felt that way and that was me, then it wasn't intended as that. I simply gave my opinion based on my observation and feeling on it. Left room for balance too, and recognised things we can't know or see. Hopefully nothing negative taken there.
I don't disagree it would he cleaner to open it next season. I even previously talked about 'at what point do they give up this season and focus on the next'. Ultimately, when they feel fairly sure they can't reasonably hit this one. Till then, they aren't just going to delay it into next season for ease.
There does seem to be a commitment to hit a target that was always stated. And I don't think that's unachievable at this point, based on what I can see, and 'colouring in' what I can't. That's just my opinion mate.
