The outside of the stadium grey and ugly, but inside the ground is - like you say - as good as any ground. Very nice aesthetically inside the bowl of the stadium. The interior is as good as any ground in Europe :)

I sit in the South stand and have to say the new Pep stand looked absolutely amazing. Think it will be absolutely rocking next season
The only stadium better in the PL is Spurs. The atmosphere was great yesterday for a dead rubber. The noise coming from both ends made a huge difference. It will be fantastic for the biggest matches. The interior is as good as any ground in Europe :)
It did a few times.Looked mint from the south stand, didn't hear anything from them though. Would be good to hear genuine noise started from that end next season but I have my doubts.
Surely once this is done they'll do some sort of sprucing up and a wrap around with lights to sync it up with the co-op.The outside of the stadium grey and ugly, but inside the ground is - like you say - as good as any ground. Very nice aesthetically inside the bowl of the stadium.
Same here and I was in 001 right next to them! I’m putting it down to the noisemakers not yet being in place.Looked mint from the south stand, didn't hear anything from them though. Would be good to hear genuine noise started from that end next season but I have my doubts.
It’s not the Taj Mahal !It is, but it’s not pretty from the outside. The new north stand is as good as any in Europe. It looked awesome today with every seat occupied.
Odd,I was in 001 seemed pretty loud to me sure the design and being a single tier helped and they started a fair few songs.Same here and I was in 001 right next to them! I’m putting it down to the noisemakers not yet being in place.
There are moments when everyone sings but usually it starts with a group. I was on the halfway line yesterday, and I thought there was more singing from the South Stand but when the North Stand sung it was louder than the South Stand. It should be because there are more fans there, and the 2nd tier is huge and close to the roof. The stand was designed to generate more noise, and it seems to do so.The good news about the acoustics is that when that stand is in full flow it doesn't sound like it's coming from an end, it sounds like the whole ground.
I was in the middle of north stand (pep stand) and i have to say it got pretty loud on occasions. Way better than the last few years. Only heard a bit from the south stand tbh! Its getting the librarys on the sides doing something is the mission. They are obviously less inclosed so probably not as inclined to raw. Could do with piping in some noise from the ends to get them going. Its a confidence thing as those stands won't naturally boom like the end stands and probably have more tourists in them. Sat down on their fkin phones. Why would you pay all that money for a ticket and sit there playing moron games on your phone
Couldn’t hear anything from NS in SS3 so hopefully the noise is not lost a bit due to the size of the crowd.
What is the stand like for anyone who went in?
"Alright Skip?"It was brilliant. We could hear the Villa fans clearly-;)
Hmmm personally I wouldn’t be very comfortable with that quote. It’s not his place anymore. It’s now a new from and the quicker we move the better. We’ve got to be better than all the other plonkers who give new managers 3 games and make their minds up. Then begins 10 years of instability & slowly sliding down the league. The large concrete wall below the skybar and above the second tier is perfect for a text tribute to Pep.
But instead of 'The Pep Guardiola Stand' written on it, I personally would rather see simply his quote 'This is my place'.
