North Stand Development: Have your say

We got cheaper away tickets because people campaigned for them. The reason home tickets aren’t even more expensive is because of the negative reaction they would get from many people. If you want to pay more you should tell the club and make a donation to them.

Personally I have no problem affording it but I like to look out for others. I also know the atmosphere will be negatively impacted by more price rises and that young people (the future of the club) will be priced out.

Appreciate some people only think about themselves though and not the bigger picture though.
You're such a saint ffs

You’ve not answered. How would you feel if tickets were £200 a game?

People who push against prices will always pay a cheaper price than those that embrace them. Personally, I’d rather pay less but that’s just me.

It’s why we have capped away ticket prices, because people fought against price increases.

The more expensive ticket prices get the more the demographic will change and the worst the atmosphere will get. There will be less locals and more tourists. Personally I’d rather more locals but again, maybe that’s just me.

Young people also have less money than ever. I’d rather not price out future support… maybe it’s just me.

“I’m alright Jack”

Everyone would like to see some less expensive tickets for those on lesser wages. And most importantly for young supporters.
However , I see people drinking plenty, snorting, and smoking before and after games. I see very expensive jackets(logos), trainers.and other items, none of which I can afford.
However I can pay £50 for a ticket.

The cost of living is crazy, many of us have had to change our lifestyle, I went to the cinema before Xmas, 24 quid for 2 tickets. A bar of chocolate i£1.50p, £5 a jar of coffee, given both of those up.

Match day costs for all clubs have risen sharply, unless clubs cut back elsewhere those costs need to be covered.

Jesus where do you go to the Cinema? Vue is £4.99 a ticket and BOGOF with a cheap throw away purchase on compare the market.

Thought it was expensive. A small cinema, in a small town. Ritz.

It's only for locals. A FOC, who needs someone like you searching for bargains.

That would suggest that despite being young, these particular lads you’ve come across have the money and can afford their tickets, the clobber, the beer and biff. A lot of young men work hard and earn decent money.

They aren’t the ones who’ve been priced out.

There’s a great many young adult City fans not attending across this city who can’t justify the prices. But they’d love to have season tickets if they could get one for a decent price, they might come in their Tesco four stripe, and maybe not have a drink in the pub/ground and maybe would buy a couple of cans from the Offy before the game instead. But they’d love to be there.

One thing’s for sure, at City, there’s a distinct lack of large groups of local lads aged 20-40 year old all sat/stood together.

That's why I began by stressing cheap tickets for younger supporters.

I hope to see thousands of young blues on Saturday evening.
