Is the Hall the glass ceiling bit between the hotel and shop? Or is this a separate indoor area inside the back of the new north stand?
Outsinging anyone was never going to happen but some noise at some point when you have labelled yourself a singing section would have been nice.TBF, I don't think any fans would have outsug the Palace Ultras. Villa fans got slaughtered as well. If the penalty had gone in that would have made a difference to our support. We've never been great at Wembley, bar some matches. Away from home in the PL we have one of the best away supports, acknowledged by home fans in the PL.
No! There’ll be a junior pull through, you can’t expect someone who can’t actually purchase a ST to qualify :) even City aren’t that heartless, although my grandson got one at 4 years old on the flexi’s, he’s now got a full ST as he attended all but one last season
Thread title is north stand construction DISCUSSION.Can the 'usual suspects' get a room and take it to the appropriate thread (if there is one? if not can one of you start one) I come on this thread to see how the North Stand Construction is going, I.E. Drone footage, pictures, etc.
can you please stop trying to get thread on trackIs the Hall the glass ceiling bit between the hotel and shop? Or is this a separate indoor area inside the back of the new north stand?

I posted this, and more like it, a while back. It was a tad idealistic (it's 2025 not 1985) but I stand by the sentiment. It looks great. However, will it be great? That's all that that matters, isn't it?
Where is the North Stand Atmosphere Expectations thread? I can't see one.
I have this vision of blue smoke, pyros, deafening noise, flags, banners, the whole stand bouncing, a 10000 strong Poznan, a blue wall, the Kippax reborn, A Curva Nord. Bedlam. Utter f**kin bedlam for 90 minutes. Opposition players shitting themselves. Away fans shifting nervously in their seats in awe. No tourists, none. An intimidating place, not for the faint hearted. If you don't like it, go and stand somewhere f**kin else. This is ours.
Isn't that the whole point? Lol
Or, at 60, am I out of touch with 21st Century match day experience expectations?
It depends how you look at it.
OK, the club didn't push back on it, I'll accept that, and take that back. But I certainly don't think improving the atmosphere with a proper home end was at the forefront of the clubs thinking and priorities for the new NSL2.(in my opinion)
Like I've already posted, there hasn't been a single mention by the club of a dedicated singing section/block on the new NSL2, which needs to be a minimum requirement if the fans on NSL2 are going to improve the atmosphere inside the Etihad.
The only new announcement we've had from the club today is 500 City Hall hospitality seats. Another hospitality section. That isn't going to.improve the atmosphere inside the Etihad.
My steak is burning. :-(
They can re-sell the seat with a full season ticket. List it on the exchange.I’m not certain either and it’s right there is a clear pathway to full season cards. There is a benefit to the flexi gold that families aren’t pressurised to bring youngsters to mid week / school night games. There is an opportunity to resell the seat.

1000 plus pages on, basically, a Civil Engineering thread. Lol.
That's fine but... that generational chance to finally get everyone together, in the same place, to create an atmosphere (to spur the f**kin team on- there's a concept lol) is slipping through our fingers. Or, perhaps, that should be your fingers- I'm a FOC now. I had my mad times on The Kippax. Are none of you arsed?
It baffles me, it really does. The club hasn't helped - the mission statement was never Bring the noise.
However, a fragmented home support, standing either side of the away fans, reacting not starting things, pockets of noise here and there etc is sh**e IMO. Pony.
I hope I'm proven wrong.
I don't really disagree as such. But that ship has long sailed and we are where we are.
Pretty comfortable from what has been said that @HelloCity is wrong with his assumption that the GA+ is relocating, which was what my point on that item was. He/I may or may not be wrong on the City Hall as potentially additional hospitality. That's open to interpretation and I am open to the conjecture being right. We can't know at this point though, happy for time to tell.
Honestly mate they’re a doddle to keep up with, just buy all the tickets & the following season you’ll be able to upgrade to a full one (facial recognition aside) check in on the flexi thread if you get one it’s a good source of info. If you’re on Twitter give fan support a nudge, it’s how I got sorted & a lad I give tickets to did the same & got oneFantastic. I’ll keep an eye out for it. He comes to every game with me and has done since last year so if he can get a flexi ticket then even better as he’ll be too old to sit on my knee
I’m correct on all aspects.
Cross Bar seats are between the old and new sections of the upper tier. It’s not an assumption, it’s literally stated by the club.
“Located at the start of the expanded section”
“No fans will need to move to accommodate Cross Bar.”
You can also see in the drone videos where they’ve left a seating gap between the old and new sections. This will be because the seats are different - comfy ones.
City Hall seats are in the back section of the lower tier.
“The introduction of City Hall means that a small number of Season Ticket Members in North Stand Level 0 (formerly known as Level 1) may need to move seats”
The city hall point I do get. Not sure when we'll know the real implication of that, but at least we are talking about the same thing.
The Cross Bar I honestly think you have put the wrong 2 and 2 together.
Look at the section again. Read the description again. 'Cross Bar: Located at the start of the expanded section, this space will welcome around 300 fans and offer a relaxed, social atmosphere'. That is literally the current GA+ bar, it is at the start of the expanded section, at the bottom of the expanded tier. It is the room that holds 300. That makes zero sense being anywhere else or moving at this stage.
Start of the expanded section is not the space between old and new. It is the botton of the whole tier, which the expanded section includes. That has always been.part of the drawings.
The point about no seats needing to relocate, I get too, I have said as much, it is the confusing bit. The fact no seats have been installed there yet, immediately behind the hoarding, is likely for ease of access to the hoarding to eventually take it down.
There was some singing, but it wasn't great.Outsinging anyone was never going to happen but some noise at some point when you have labelled yourself a singing section would have been nice.
You’ll see :)
Whilst I don’t agree that you should have to move I guess it should be easy enough to get 12 together in the new seats? Further back I know but maybe not such a different view? What's the chances of relocating together the 12 seats we have.?
