The expanded section is row 16 onwards to me, but appreciate that can be read differently. No, tbf that family stand point was more for HelloCity hence including him in.
Agree, but the statement might also just be partial. Or temporary. Doubt the build is though, hence I'm going with the drawings for the time being. Nothing outrageous in that.
The statement does also describe the location exactly where it is 'the start of the expanded section', so it doesn't even strictly tie up with itself, never mind the drawings.
There was plenty of praying needed at Maine Road in the 80s and 90s.Any updates on the “Prayer Room”?
Can you imagine seeing that at Maine Rd?
Straight out of The Osborne and onto your mat.
The case by case approach allows the club to pick us off one by one.Yes regarding the criteria requested but hopefully the cases by case approach will exempt those Blues who really need an exemption. Hopefully. the vast majority of season card holders who go in the expanded North Stand can make most games because we really need the atmosphere boost. Especially after the quiet crowd against Everton.

We both know what the other means tbf. To me that's not the expanded section. It is the new section. The expanded section is from row 1, the whole tier.
Language though can be interpreted so. A drawing (in this case the section), not so much. Hence my sticking with that. For now. On a more subtle note, the way that tier is shown, polylined, framed throughout the graphic material, it is consistent the club are not separating old and new with how they view this tier.
Either way none of us can say definitively at this point. But appreciate you will find out before me and feed back at some point.
Could also be the swap I mentioned previously, all sensible guesswork on a loose partially vague statement.
That post is too sensible mate, you will be called a **** before you know it :)The club are spending £350m on this development it needs to pay back and this involves offering various levels of seating GA, GA+ and then increasing levels of hospitality until the ultimate, Tunnel Club. Consequently there’s going to be some people inconvenienced and it’s not good when it affects you. They also have to increase revenue, to bring us the best players and management team, all this within the constraints of financial controls in a competitive environment. From what I’ve seen they are trying to treat people fairly offering priority over relocation and moving people together to maintain match day friendships New season tickets and 50% reserved for juniors yet it wasn’t long ago that people were saying they probably wouldn’t offer additional ST They have listened to support groups but ultimately they can’t please everyone all of the time
Now can we get back on thread and use it for construction discussion
How much does our ticket revenue cover player transfers, wages and a multi million pound expansion? The club are spending £350m on this development it needs to pay back and this involves offering various levels of seating GA, GA+ and then increasing levels of hospitality until the ultimate, Tunnel Club. It’s the way it is on here. City win and the after match thread might be 20 pages. We get beat and it might be 60 pages long.It seems the expansion is unpopular, despite the increased capacity and facilities. Should’ve stayed at Maine Road, jumpers for goalposts and the Gene Kelly stand, and that high tech scoreboard, and no parking….. Lee Badbury v Erling Haaland
Talks about City North stand from 19.50
If it was from the front of the whole tier then they’d have commented about people having to relocate.

I agree. If the seating for the Cross Bar is still what is shown as yellow above then whoever's sat there should have been informed.
Yesterday's statement sounds to me like they've moved that yellow section to start at the first new row, rather than the first row of the tier. Or maybe they've done something completely different like a paid upgrade system as suggested by @BLUE PEANUT .
Sorry couldn't get there today, long day driving then saw the weather was rain around the time I would be there. I'll be back Sunday weather permitting and CP Overview might be there tomorrow. CheersBack there tomorrow Alty_Blue cheers
The south end of the stadium could not be designed any worse for atmosphere but I worry that those who sit over there can’t fully grasp how bad this is. They aren’t fully aware of the impact of 2 or 3 small ends singing different songs at the same time, or trying to compete with 3000 away fans, and the way the rest of the stadium stops responding.I think this is main thing from this entire project. This is our one and only chance to have a proper home end and it would be a huge missed opportunity if it’s not done properly.
As you suggest the club need to be promoting this as a singing end. I sit in the Colin bell stand and you can see the potential with the low roof and larger section.
For me as good as the south stand can be, it’s not working. It’s too fragmented and small.
This is our chance. The club however aren’t helping with the increase in corporate sections, lack of consultation and lack of focus on creating a proper home end. We still have time to change this!
Won’t be the first timeThat post is too sensible mate, you will be called a **** before you know it :)
I’m afraid the whole notion of the flexi gold has come about due to the sheer number of ST holders who don’t attend games and don’t make them available to others. As per City Matters figures posted last season, the number of no shows are quite shockingYeah that was the point i was trying to get at that it looks like the club are referring to a Flexi-Gold under he title of a season ticket, whereas i would think the majority of the fans would consider a season ticket to include all league home games.
Also the criteria of having to have purchased 35 matchday tickets over the past three years also seems very limiting. If i was being cynical i would say its almost like they are saying there will be 4000 new season tickets available but making the purchase criteria so prescriptive that only a small number of fans will qualify and the rest of the allocation will then revert back into the match day sales pot.
