North Stand Expansion

Surely you want the singers at the back of the stand where they will make the most noise ?

Either is good.

Unfortunately there won't be any groups of singers/singing sections at the back or at the front of NSL2 if the club decides to go ahead with the current plans and seating layout on NSL2.

I struggle with the negatives on here at times. Been watching City more than actively since 1972. You simply cannot decree, who is a singer, with enough points, then force them into a certain area of the stadium. Times have changed, this is no longer your normal Blue russling up to pay less than a quid on the Kippax, anymore. Football has changed, our fanbase is changing as we all know. Just enjoy. Like the Munchbunch and Real Madrid games last season proved, when a volatile MCFC crowd is needed, it usually appears.

Great post, romance follows atmosphere, there were many games back in the day at Maine RD where the atmosphere was dead.

Society has changed and football is now a middle class game, hence why great atmospheres are few and far between and sadly a lot of those middle class fans want something more than a pie and a pint to go with their seat.

Not many proper working class left, when you left work Saturday dinner time (yes, Saturday mornings were part of the working week) go home grab something to eat then walk to Belle Vue Lake to get the 53 to Maine Road, sometimes still in your overalls. Yes times have changed
