North Stand

Ive sat in every tier at Eastland bar the North Stand, and trust me I never will, I'd go out of my mind with that set of boring bleeders

North Stand is quiet but it's still better than the pathetic South Stand.

whats your problem? pathetic? the south stand and 111/110 area are the only areas

where people get behind the fucking team, i moved to the south stand 3 years ago

so i could make noise without being looked at like a fucking alien. jesus christ the north stand

is basically none existant as far as noise. like everywhere else in the stadium.

the op is bang on for bringing up the fact some people may as well be asleep.

bluemoon1078 quite obviously your not a fan of singing but to slag off block 111 and 110 is a big statement considering you dont sing yourself?!!

To me it seems that you dont know much about city because i am guessing that nearly every seat in those 2 blocks is held by a season ticket holder.

Dont call them part timers because they are actually trying to create and atmosphere.

Bein told to sit down for a corner is EMBARASING!!!

Much better than your previous attempt but still wrong. Why is it embarrassing in the North Stand? It does not portray itself as a singing stand. It's the family stand. If you want to stand at corners go in the South Stand and let the kids watch the match they paid for without having you in their way.

i said being told to sit down at a football match is embarrassing

Why did you move to the south stand so you could make noise? You might as well have gone in the north stand or the colin bell 3rd tier.

The south stand is dead and the majoirty of people in there don't take advantage of being in the best part of the ground for atmosphere, they just stand with their arms folded and do fuck all whilst a tiny group in 110/111 carry the ground.

I'll continue to slag the south stand off as it seems to thrive on being the so called "loudest" part in the ground on a reputation built 3-4 years ago even though for the last 2-3 years it has been as quiet as anywhere else, everyone who stands in there gets all defensive when it gets slagged off so all prove me wrong and open your mouths and be as loud as the away fans are when they take up a 3,000 allocation and all sing together.

We r all blues arent we sit where u want and get behind the team anyway u want to!!!

City City rah rah rah ;)

I've sat in the North Stand for all but two (off the top of my head) home games since the move from Maine Road. I've never once heard or seen anyone who wasn't persistently standing on their own for no reason be told to sit down. I have, very, very infrequently, mind you, heard one or two people who were standing up, on their own, when the play was not at the North Stand end, wasn't a corner, free kick, penalty, whatever, be told to sit down and they tend to react badly, despite them being the only one standing.

The people in the North Stand do not have a problem with people standing at important times of the match. But when nothing is happening that's worth standing for - ie. midfield possession, play around the box by the South Stand etc - then if you're the only one standing you're going to be told to sit down.

The North Stand is not on a vendetta to stop you or anybody enjoying the game.
