North Stand

how much of a sad act must you be to complain at the way a fellow supporter enjoys the game. what a great set of people us City fans are, no wonder other clubs single this forum out for its nob head count

Why did you move to the south stand so you could make noise? You might as well have gone in the north stand or the colin bell 3rd tier.

The south stand is dead and the majoirty of people in there don't take advantage of being in the best part of the ground for atmosphere, they just stand with their arms folded and do fuck all whilst a tiny group in 110/111 carry the ground.

I'll continue to slag the south stand off as it seems to thrive on being the so called "loudest" part in the ground on a reputation built 3-4 years ago even though for the last 2-3 years it has been as quiet as anywhere else, everyone who stands in there gets all defensive when it gets slagged off so all prove me wrong and open your mouths and be as loud as the away fans are when they take up a 3,000 allocation and all sing together.

You should come to the south stand and show us how to really support are team, I never knew I wasnt a good enough fan

I am City's number 1 fan. I have the mug to prove it.

The North Stand pretty much reflects the atmosphere of the rest of the ground. If its buzzing, then the North Stand is buzzing. If its quiet like last night, then the North Stand is quiet. Its not brilliant, but I do think it sometimes get an unfair press. There are other areas that are equally as bad.

well said

est stand / north corner is shit too unless its a 'big game'

a perception seems to have developed at coms ,that if you don,t sit in the south stand in 112 or 111 ,be a season ticket holder, get bladdered at mary ds before the game ,shout and sing obcenites at the away fans for the duration of the game then you are a part time plastic.i stood at the rear of the kippax in the 70,s and 80,s with my mates being as laddish as they come.now i have to take 3 young children with me , who want to watch the game .i,m sure when they are older they will adopt the south stand mentality. just rememember not everyone is the same.

belive it or not, not every city fan is in the 20/40 age bracket that likes a few drinks and a sing song

some are oap's
some bring young kids
bring friends for the 1st time
some may not even follow city just there to watch a game of football

if you were that board/ pissed off why didnt you walk around to the south stand or 110/111

The atmosphere in the north stand is a joke. We moved from there this year after 3 years there. Always told to sit down when an exciting point happened, got into so many arguments with people. They are not proper fans, just bored and come along for the ride. The worst was the derby where swp scored to make ot 4-1, this guy and his mate mid 30's told me to please sit down as they cant see. i lost it and told him " shut up you miserable bastard, if you cant see, then stand up, if you are not prepared to be on your feet when we score 4 against then scum then what is the point in coming" his reply was " i will call a steward over" i still stood with half of the people around me. i just do not get people like that. STAY AY HOME!!!

What a typical comment from someone in the north stand. Out of everything i just said and you pull that out. it was actually because we couldnt get 5 seats together in the south stand until this season, thats why. So whats your opinion on the miserable fucker that told me to sit down after swp scored to make it 4-1, or did that slip your mind. Oh, and by the way, I dont abuse the away fans for 90 minutes, i dont drink in mary d's, i have a nice house, car and fiancee and i have a good job, but most of all, i am a blue and will give it 100% at every home game to get the crowd goind, unlike some people, you cough cough
