We need to be all guns firing for next week so for this one I would rest KDB who is being overplayed, wouldn't risk Aguero with Bony still not fit and give Sagna, Toure and Fernandinho the game off.

Willy
Zab
Kolorov
Ottamendi
Anyone but Demichellis
Fernando
Delph
Navas
Silva
Sterling
Kelechi

Spot on, you know he'll play Aguero though...& Demichellis.

I would expect Clichy rather than Kolarov.
I also see Fernandinho play. And I hope for a back 3 leaving Demichelis out. But that could be too much a change for the old guy in charge.

Pellers has clearly stated not being up for the FA Cup given the tight schedule. His focus is on PL and CL, plus C1cup final.
Whatever the squad is like, the intensity won't be too high I suppose. No injuries will be key for him.
Of course he has to say "it's important to win". What else can he say?
But he needs to change some players and this is the best chance for him to do so.

Yeah maybe Clichy will play.

I would rather he didn't play Fernandinho because he is another who has been overplayed.

Willy Caballero will continue in goal against Norwich in the FA Cup third round.
The Argentinian will make his second successive appearance having played in the Capital One Cup first round against Everton in midweek.

City will still have to do without Wilfried Bony and Vincent Kompany, while Eliaquim Mangala is sidelined after he picked up a hamstring strain at Goodison Park.

Boss Manuel Pellegrini said: "Willy will play both Cups. For Joe it's good to work one complete week because we are playing so many games.

"Mangala and Bony are both still injured. We will know more tomorrow.

"Vincent is progressing, it's a muscle injury and we must not rush him.

"I think one of most important merits of this squad is to continue being in all the competitions with so many injuries.

"I hope in future we have the normal amount of players."

Pellegrini dismissed the notion that an FA Cup tie would be treated any differently to any other competition and that the injury situation will not force the Club into transfer window activity.

"I repeat we are going to be focused game by game," he reflected.

"For the moment we continue with the same squad. I trust in the players - in the first four months we could do it so we can again.

"The priority for my team is to try and win every game, it doesn't matter which competition you are in.

"That gives you an ambitious mind and a winning mind."

Pellegrini has selection issues defensively, but is buoyed by the return of Pablo Zabaleta from injury and Bacary Sagna's versatility - the Chilean boss pointed out he can play at centre-back if required.

Pellegrini also had a special word of praise for birthday boy David Silva.

He enthused: "I think David demonstrates in every game how important he is. He is a different player, so technical, it's a gift to see him play, I hope he continues."

From the OS

I hope he plays that sort of 4-4-2 which he tried at Leicester and Watford, and the two upfront will be Sterling and Kelechi, with both dropping back to wide areas if needed; quite the ideal partnership with one being left footed, and if I remember well they showed some good glimpses together in our last summer pre-season tour.

Play Fernando, Delph and Navas and midfield and either of Silva/De Bruyne, then swap the selected one for the other. Quite a few important players will be rested this way ahead of the Everton game.

Is this match on TV over in the UK? It's not in the U.S. and it doesn't look like it is according to livesoccertv. I can't remember the last time I wasn't able to watch two matches in a row. Depressing.
