Norwich VS city post match thread

Pelle spent all week coming up with a gameplan for this. Thats how good manager he is.

The other thing is during the week I read few players coming with their usual stuff, "dont write us off", "we know how to win a title".

Fernandinho: "I think it would be a big mistake [to write off City]. We have great players and a great manager...
"The team is one of the best in the league. We have a great squad with great players but we have to prove that on the pitch."
Unfortunately we haven't done that up to now. I hope the next two months we can prove that on the pitch and not just talking."

Its all just talking tho. We dont have a great manager. The few great players we have is in so bad form it hurts. They may have one great game in 5.

Secure top3, I dont want CL risked on a tie played in early August after a summer tournament.

Dont forget Khaldoon said how dissapointed he was with last season. This season we may even finish lower in the league, or even outside top4, yes we won Capital Cup, the least valuable trophy in two years. The board believed and trusted this manager. If you trust a fool arent you the fool?

We cant win two league games in a row even if the fixture list gives us Villa and Norwich in a row. DISGRACE.
Don't be so stupid. Pellegrini does not come up with gameplans!

I'm so annoyed. Absolute fucking dogshit. Forget the league we'll be 5th soon. Can Navas ever get the ball past the first defender??
It is obvious to everyone who watches City that Navas is useless as a starter. He's mint when he comes on when City are ahead to serve as an outlet and help retain possession but for some reason MP can't (or won't) use him that way. It's the same situation with Bony/Nacho. Bony is useless, Nacho scores goals and puts pressure on defenses. Bony plays, Nacho sits.

Disagree. Bony's mere presence reduces Kun's space and Sterling at least offers some movement.

Pellegrini has been utter garbage for ages now and I suspect we would do better without him.

That may be the case but we were no better after the changes.

I hate to say this but Neil Custis had it right, with Bony on the pitch we were already down to ten men.
Appalling team selection by Pellegrini and why he didn't sub him earlier is beyond me.
You always know when we are playing badly as Kun has to drop into midfield to get the ball.
Sadly it's been this poor all season, not one to remember, just got to beat the Rags now and secure 4th spot.

Deja vu
It's just like the game against Burnley last year .
The only positive of today is we didn't lose like we did against Burnley last year .
Rubbish that today .

Pellegrini just isn't a good manager. He inherited a team that had won the title the year before last, and got money to spend on it, that Mancini had been denied. We've gone worse the longer he's had with the squad, its no coincidence. Even in Mancini's "crap" season, we still comfortably finished 2nd and reached a cup final. Now we're fighting with West Ham and the worst United team in years for 4th spot. I honestly can't wait until he's gone, he has underachieved massively.

Should have gotten Rafa in for the last 10/11 games as with the fraud in charge we won't be in the champions league next season. For people to even try and say we haven't regressed under Pellegrini is ridiculous.

When was KDB's injury?? We haven't had back to back wins since October....

The problem sits solely with style... Manuel is a stubborn mule who would rather lose playing his attacking philosophy than win playing ugly..
January 27th. That's true but from October to January we were missing Kompany, Silva, and Aguero for some time. Now the only notable players missing are Delph and KDB.
