I don't have difficulty understanding anything. Yes, we played well but didn't score. I'm quite aware that "at this stage of the season we must win to keep in contention" believe it or not. What would you have done differently, in terms of selection? Formation?

I am no footballing Einstein, but

1. We never create anything with Fernandino and Fernando playing together and Silva out on the wing.Silva needs to be in the middle.
3. Iheanacho should have started. Bony should never start again, and ideally never play for us again.
4. Sterling should have started.
5. Zabaleta should have started. Clichy creates NOTHING going forward, NOTHING. Zilch.
5. Silva should never again be allowed to take (i) a corner, (ii) a free kick, (iii) god forbit, a penalty. Might as well just hand them the ball back.

I'll agree that there are fans that are well over the top and are out of order, but you should single them out and not generalise fans into spoilt brats for moaning about us being piss poor, we are, hence a lot of angry fans me included.
My brother is a "happy clapper", I'm sure he has the song "always look on the bright side of life" playing constantly in his head, not today, he rang me after the game, it's been building all season, let's just say he's not a happy bunny : )

I don't think he ever had the plot. It's just taken some of us longer to realise it than others.

It's death by possession. The players know that a win today was absolutely essential if we had any change of wining the league. Where is the urgency in the last ten to fifteen mins? It's baffling.

I would have started nacho and sterling as well. But they did fuck all when they come on did they? And they had time.
