There seems to be a feeling of certainty that we will win the league under Pep...We might not, because we'd have Europa League instead (we're already guaranteed that).

We will be favourites, and I cannot wait to see us play under him. But don't underestimate the effect a decent manager could have on Chelsea, for example?
I can't wait for Pep, but there seems to be a feeling that no matter what happens we are winning the league for the next 3 years.

The owners will be bothered about CL qualification as they are money men.
Me personally as a matchgoer I'd enjoy the Europa League more as we'd end up drawing some obscure town in Poland or some shit and have a great pissup :)

It will be much more difficult to secure transfer targets without CL football to offer.
I think the pull of having Pep will counter any worries over no CL football.

Not from me, we don't play in Spain or Germany, so it'll never be a one or two team league, football still has to be played, and no manager guarantees titles here.I can't wait for Pep, but there seems to be a feeling that no matter what happens we are winning the league for the next 3 years.
On a side note, it will be rather ironic if Ranieri wins the league with Leicester, but couldn't at Chelsea with the money Abramovic provided him.

To be having a serious discussion regarding if we will actually make a top 4 spot just shows how much this team has regressed under Pellegrini.
We are back to the stage of when Mark Hughes was in charge. Pellegrini has taken us back 6 years.

Capital One aside this season has not panned out well. We should be nailed on top 4. We should have walked the league given the money spent on players. I know it's been a strange season but MP & Co. need to take a long hard look at themselves. We have been inconsistent & what's worse - fragile. Just look at the beatings we've taken. Personally, I don't give a flip about the cash cow that is the 'Champions' League but the club need the money for FFP like it or not.
