Don’t care what anyone says he is not good enough for Man City and will continue to cost us points this season and the next . I don’t care if he can 25 yard pass a ball because we have outfield players who do that I just want him to save shots I mean that’s his job right !
Time for Ortega to step in

What I was trying to say was this: we all laughed at Man Utd when Ronaldo went back and initially scored plenty of goals, but it was because the midfield/the wingbacks were trying to pass to him and set him up all the time. The end result United as a team scored less goals over the season and finished in like 6th.

I hope we don't fall into the same trap with Haaland. I don't think so, he is not a prima dona like CR37.

My interpretation of that incident today: well Phil has alledgedly been on the 'naughty step' recently, he was in on goal but sensed Haaland was available and he tried to pass it when really in past seasons he'd have just smacked it in himself.
You should always pass from there to score a tap in into empty net, he really fcked it up, he should have passed it a lot earlier.

You have to keep a positive slant if you want to get somewhere significant...

@Legal Alien
How the fuck didn't we win that.
A crazy game, totally dominant and we could've been 5 up easily.
We've just wasted a great opportunity there and given the arse a great boost, fuck!

This is true...and...as Pep would say (in the presser, at least), it's a sign that if we continue to make enough quality chances, chances are, we'll continue to do very well.

Long way to go...
I agree and i do like how the team is coming together.

Ruben has made a huge difference, not just in his defending but in the confidence the team is showing.
Ake who can feel unlucky he's not playing, should have come on earlier in place of Gundo and Alvarez instead of KDB not Foden today. Then the back line would've been secure.
Bernardo and Foden could've been moved into midfield and with Alvarez it gives us a lot of energy where we can still create chances.
Phil played well today and that was good for us, he gets in my 1st team and we need him to continue getting fitter and into form.
But i'd tell him, we have a man who scores goals for a living! If he is near you in future, pass him the ball!

Also we need to protect Rodri from getting burnt out.
He is vital to us and we need him fit and in top form at the arse end of the season, we can't afford to have him tired then.
So i'm surprised Phillips didn't get some minutes, that game would've been perfect for him. This lad needs to play and contribute so we can keep Rodri healthy, so he needs to play sometime.

A shite result but i was encouraged by performance and yeah i think we will be in with a shout for everything come the end of the season.

Pep didn't react to the Wood sub.

Phil caught in two minds but played well. Jack was excellent.

Him and Haaland have no excuse to not score, but neither do Rodri or Laporte.

Pathetic from Kev. Playing for himself again.

A dominant performance and we will come again, but this is why United are even being talked about, because this Arsenal are nothing special.

And we haven't been, barring a derby win.

Ref was a twat. Four minutes added time, player down for two of them, blows whistle on bang on.
Kev playing for himself FFS how many assists has he got talking Bollocks

There was an air of invincibility in us those seasons.. this time we have weaknesses that haven’t been addressed e.g. LB so I hope we can do it but as mentioned, I’m not confident
If we can win it this season it will be one of the best , with the Premier league charges it would be wonderful to shove it right up our critics and Richard Masters the Rag/Dipper puppet who runs the Premier league , i would insist he hands over the trophy , its only down the road for him at Brentford.

Certainly not been good enough this season and a lot of last season aswell . He doesn’t save any shots mate
I get that but it’s a team game. One player letting the system down can be said, but when we have so many chances then we shouldn’t alienate a player when there was little chance of a save anyway.

Was that goal Ederson’s fault or was it a team mistake?

When we got to their box it was always a case of start fucking about, over complicating it, one touch too many every time, or the wrong option .Bernado put his laces through the Ball,i wish others would try this with a bank of 10 players defending.

This is our Achilles Heal when we play shite sides intent only on defending.

They let us have the Ball, then we play in to their hands by reverting to a slow pass, pass, pass, game trying to walk the Ball in to the Net.

We should be more direct get a couple of goals ahead and force the opposition to change style .

We had only 36% possession against Arsenal but were more direct.

We fall in to a trap of focusing only on possession Ball

Their game plan 11 Behind the Ball for 80 minutes, hopefully we keep it 0-0,or 0-1 then go for it the last 10 minutes.
To be fair de Bruyne had about 5 shots from outside the box and they were all absolutely shit
