Nottingham Forest (H) | PL | Post-Match Thread

Is it true City have to face a PL investigation for possible anti-competitive activity? Apparently it concerns the signing of Erling Harland and Julian Alvarez.
Thought it was City and Newcastle threatening legal action against the Premier League about having to have prior approval of sponsorship deals on the grounds that this is anti-competitive. But I guess this might be something different

Last night’s opponents won’t be one of the most difficult teams we face this season, but our performance was one of total quality. I agree with Tolmie that the partnership between Haaland and Alvarez looks seriously exciting and the club have done a fantastic job in signing both players. In fact, all of our signings in this transfer window (including Akanji today) look really good. They have all said how excited they are to be joining and I think our fans should feel the same way. Good luck to Forest in their quest to remain in the Premier League. They have a good manager who wants his team to play good football. Their fans were magnificent last night even when they were 6-0 down and it was nice to see them applauding Haaland.

No. In a Manc accent with clapping in time, I know that’s difficult for you doss cunts, but it would work, I’m feeding pearls to swine. I’m even lovelier than I first thought. And I thought I was absolutely enchanting. Too considerate, that’s my fucking problem. Cunts.

If anyone gets a chance, go look at the replays of the second Alvarez goal. He had no more than a balls space to hit it in too, bending it around the defender, whilst running across the box, and he did. Really, really, superb strike.

Don’t want to talk bad about Sterling, but he’s never scoring that goal.
that was on his weaker foot too
