I wouldn’t get over the top with that performance. It stops the poor run of form but Forest had plenty of chances in that first half and we were at home.

He just needs to stop putting their CF through one on one with the keeper and I'd be inclined to agree. Redeemed himself with a decent goal shortly after but that could have made a huge difference.

We could do with some defenders that are more durable.

Stones is a part timer at this point.

Ake seems to get injured a fair bit and he's coming up 30, I can't see that injury record improving.

Dias and Akanji seem to miss quite a few games too.

I know any players can get injured but we definitely have an injury prone set of defenders and that's been evident for a couple of years really.
 
Much better performance
Debruyne ,Bernardo & Gundagan linked up so well & have such a great understanding. Doku frightens the life out of defenders & Grealish looked much better inside.
Still too many individual mistakes atm which need to put to bed if we are to go on a run of results
 
Thank goodness Wood missed a big opportunity to level for Forest at 1-0. The atmosphere could have changed if he scored and it may have affected the team.

Win at Palace now and the team can get a roll going. The fans can get the Poznan going and announce to the PL we are back.
 
I don’t know what this woman is on about Pep seems far happier - he seemed right pissed off to me in that interview

Much better the further up the pitch he is. Key in the buildup for the first goal. Asking him to play the Rodri role is not in his toolbox anymore. But seems Pep thinks he's the best one at this moment. Says a lot.

I wouldn't say 2 years wasted, The year we won the Treble he was unplayable, It was his best ever season asides the trophies, It was his best football.
