You appear to not understand the game Alfie...

That first half performance was an immense tactical battle.

If you want massive entertainment all the time the go support the rags...their Americanisation would be right up your street.

In the meantime learn to appreciate the finer points of the game.... you may just enjoy it.

rubbish...we were statisticaly shafted in the first half and if it wasnt for chelseas lack of appetite in front of our goal, we could have gone in 2 or 3 down

But we didn't.... Oh but we did win 4-2 away against a formidable home side.

Are there that many people here that really want Mancini out? a few grumbles about him i know but has anyone really said mancini out?

personally (and i don't expect anyone to agree with me) i was happy with Sven and didn't want him to go.

i wasn't overly keen on hughes arrival but thought he had potential, i warmed to him quickly. in the end I was happy with hughes and didn't want him to go.

i wasn't overly keen on mancinis arrival but think he has potential, i have warmed to him and am happy with him too now. and i don't want him to go either.

clearly the oft played argument that 'these are hughes players so don't blame mancini' won't hold much water because they've done the double over the stamford paupers.

onwards and upwards, up the blues and all that stuff.

Chelsea were the better side in the first half, but we coped with them quite well and could easily have gone into the break 1-2 up.

we had 2 shots on target in the first half and scored with one

Lescott missed a relatively easy header just before the whistle so could have quite easily been 2-1.

Shots on target is a pointless stat.

Shot from 30 yards out straight into the arm of the keeper registers as a shot on target.

Forward shooting wide in a one on one doesn't. For me the second is a Breyer opportunity.

It was the Lescott header I was thinking of FWIW.

We had 8 on Wednesday, scored 1 and lost.

Fair point... except Mancini IMO has loads more potential than Hughes has.I do accept however that others on here may disagree as is their right to do so.

Requote

I too think Mancini has loads of potential. But slagging off former managers is, in my mind, a little classless and a bit chavvy.
