Obama

So does that make it okay then?

I'm not "alt-right" at all.

Criticising Obama could realistically come from someone very left wing. Obama is on the right of the Tory Party which people fucking fail to see.

Calling someone far-right for criticising one thing a president has said is, quite frankly, fucking thick mate.

Correct.

Obama...Bush junior...Clinton...Bush senior. All the same side of politics. Ironically the last even half way revolutionary president was old Ronnie.

Hmmmm, what to think?

BimboBob, on an Internet forum, telling me that Obama...leader of the free world for the last eight years, having helped bring the global economy back from the brink...is "all talk and no trousers."

The internet never disappoints. Well done, sir.

Leader of what now? Leader of a Un-united States who's very banking system helped cause all the global economy to fuck up in the first place. Did he jail anyone? Erm...nope. Did any government officials do anything? Oh wait...a few of them got cushy high paid jobs on wall street. Aaaah.

"Utter disgrace"???!

Ah, now I get it....hyperbole is your stock in trade. My mistake. You're right, of course...I'M the fucking thick one!

Carry on.

Yes utter disgrace. He had no right to say that to try and influence another country's democratic referendum.

Just as our politicians had no right to comment on who they would back in the US election.

Now are you going to come up with a reason why he was okay to comment or are you going to carry on not making a point?

What you mean like Nigel Farage??

What the fuck is he then mate??

Wasnt he the temporary leader of the third most popular political party in Britain, at the time of the election? Whether you agree with the **** or not its fair to say he is a politician.

He wasn't an official in our government though so his opinions can't be viewed as that of our country.

I said I still didn't feel he should have got involved but it would have been far worse if Theresa May did what Farage did.

He was still a politician though. Agreed it would have been worse if May had got involved.

I still dont think what Obama said swayed many people's vote, certainly nobody that I knew or spoke to said they voted one way or the other because of Obama.

I actually can't recall whether he was stand in UKIP leader at the time to be honest with you but my point was that he wasn't in parliament at the time. I agree with you that Farage shouldn't have got involved though.

I think it was very wrong of him whether he swayed votes or not. It may not have been the sole reason did but many remain voters I've spoken to used Obama as a point of argument.

Well they had that woman for a few weeks and have only just appointed the new leader, he was interim leader when they had nobody else and lets face it, Farage is just about the only UKIP politician everyone knows (with the exception of Barnsley Councillor Wayne Kerr of course).

I think Obama should have stayed out of it but as I stated earlier in the thread, but once he was asked about it, it was diplomatic of him to back what the leaders of just about every EU nation wanted, which was for us to remain, wouldnt be prudent of him to upset every major European politician by saying otherwise.
