I think without being any of our fault Eto's deal has had another negative impact on us. I think the way Mark Hughes and higher management go about the transfers its very professional as they make no fuss or noises about it and go about their business very smoothly, I have been disappointed by Barcelona a team of that stature acting like ass h****. But in my personal opinion City it self is a big enough name that a like of Eto who initally probably wanting to put us off asked a wage of 200k. Even if it is 180k. For someone to be at 180k FOR 3 YEARS after he turns 30 is a win win situation. I think Mark should publically pull out of the deal as Barcelona and Eto both giving a bad name to City which would send a statement to everyone out there.
I personally love the way Mark goes about his deals and wants to wrap it up asap but I also think sometimes him and Garry stay quiet for too long where we need to answer on any comments like that right away.
If we would have clinched the deal early it would been great but I would my money on a likes of Dzeko, Forlan, Huntleaar people that can take the club forwards. If Tevez comes we have enough strikers all we would need to concentrate on being in top 4 by December. I believe if we are in top 4 by January transfer window there would be numerous more options for us to choose from as anyone could see us being in CL in 6 months.
But if we manage to sign Eto..
I WILL OFFER TEVEZ TO MAN U ON A LOAN FOR ONE MORE YEAR SO AT LEAST WE HAVE SOME COMPETITION so he could improve his finishing :P. As poor united are struggling to have a single bid excepted other then a signin from Wigan which should have taken 3 hours took 3 weeks to sign I think a loan out for Tevez would make them competitive
