I would like this player at city, but in my opinion it is more important to sign Tevez, if Eto o doesn't come to us there will be more opportunities for the likes of Bellamy and Boj to get games.
I don't care what the press speculate about regarding the rags transfer dealings, if they do bid for the player they will certainly have to pay over the odds to Barca to get him, we are prepared to do that and to entice him to our club we have to pay over the odds in wages. This is nothing new we can't offer CL and that will costs us moneywise. If we got to 31st August and had signed
Barry, Tevez, Terry Lescott and RSC I would see that as good business. If we get Eto o that would just be the chery on top.

Can't agree with this. If there is a loyalty payment written into his contract, and he has not asked for a move, I fail to see what he is doing wrong by insisting that his contract is honoured. I'd do the same (anyone would). His only public statements have been supportive of a possible move to City. Yes he has said that he doesn't want to leave Barca, but he has to say that to trigger his loyalty payment. He has also said that he would be delighted to sign for City, and he shouldn't be judged on some hatchet job written by a hack with an agenda.

I started a new job last week and I've already told the guys working next to me that if I get a text from my sister to say we've signed Eto'o then I will have to immediately stand up from my desk, rush outside and start doing the aeroplane whilst yelling woohoo over and over again...
Then I might have to knock of work early and head down the pub.

We should just set a deadline to Eto'o and Barca - its finalised by x date or we move on - neither party will get a better offer. You do wonder if Eto'o is trying to delay in the hope that someone else moves in for him.
