No one has a clue to be fair, probably including eto'o himself at this stage.

Kaka came out stating he was adamant he was staying at Milan then the day after he swans off to Madrid.

Let's face it, anything could happen here, what is promising is that it's City who are in the mix, all the other 'Big' clubs are bricking it.

I think this is the most interesting line as it backs up the theory that Eto'o & his agent are insisting that Barcelona almost 'transfer list' him (with us as the only bidders) so that he can get this loyalty payment out of them.

The longer this goes on, the more I can see United putting in a bid.

I think it's interesting that most of the board certainly seems to have sided with the agent on this(as do I), when yesterday everyone, though he was being a dick.

What do u think Cooks doing now? Lol I wonder if its basically a madhouse down at COMS today.

Reading between the lines im now almost certain that the deal is done.

And that this is just a PR stunt to squeeze some money out of Barca, which he is well within his right to do.

Yes. By Eto'os representative, as an 'update' on what he said this morning (presumably to give Barca a few hours to come up with the goods).

It's not a City press conference. We won't comment until the pantomime is over.

For me, the major positive out of this mornings press conference is that he did not turn us down. He's obviously interested in moving to us (for whatever reason/purpose) if he wasn't, his agent would have made that very clear this morning.

Hopefully it will get resolved and all 3 parties will be happy.
