Still early days but I think he partners yaya better than dinho
Can't agree with that. Some people clearly don't remember last season. He is just clearly not fit, today as well was off the pace a bit.

Overall summary from the site is Garcia wins more 50/50s but plays a shorter ball. In the games they've analysed 1 of the 4 games he was voted worst in the XI.
Fernando creates a lot more. He passes over a greater distance. Although his ball winning was lower in the 6 matches, he was the top player in possesion in 3 matches and in 2 of the 6 statisically the top player(as oppose to MOTM).

The website is dangerous as stats don't tell you much, however I do like the "awards" but on the stats page. It basically tells you if your going to get a player that on his day can shine at the top level and also Fernandinho is good, he doesn't shine as much in the awards as Fernando. I think we have a goodun here...

I don't care who these Squawka people are, there is no way Garcia wins more 50/50s than Fernando.

I really think we missed him when he went off, Fernandinho is excellent, but Fernando is defensively better, I've been pondering what would Fernando have done in the run up to their goal.

Yea maybe right. Still find it very hard to believe. If javi garcia and fernando were to go into 10 50/50s against each other tomorrow, fernando would win 9 of them. Im finding it very hard to believe garcia won 70% of his because when I watched him he seemed to just trot about the pitch losing every battle he went into. Id have to see every challenge with my own eyes before I believe those stats

Only one thing he could have done.....take the guy out!;) Difficult for a defender when striker running top speed at him...Love Fernandinho but very poor attempt at stopping that guy.....as it was so far from goal he might have got away with a yellow card but worth the risk...
