Timing of the announcement very much a Pellegrini's decision. He wanted the world (top clubs) to know he's available

Very much hope Pellegrini has been informed from the start about Guardiola's arrival. Incredibly disrespectful otherwise on both fronts.

Other than stating the facts, Balague has today been very protective of his mate Pep and by doing so very supportive of City. He has bitten back at quite a few today. Looks like at least one of the press corp will be with us on our push for dominance.

The Times chief football writer Henry Winter: "Manchester United have to react. City's new manager Guardiola has praised United in the past. The advantage City have had is that they have people in high positions at the club who know Guardiola."

[/QUOTE

Linekers a dick - Pellers announced it himself and said he had been aware the deal was concluded a month ago.

So much for the "journalist" Gary Lineker - gets his "scoops" off SKY and gets in line with their editorial view

The biggest and best manager on the planet who's been a huge success at 2 enormous clubs is going to be ours next season.

This moves us into the top bracket on 'name' alone.

Buying power to rival anybody, the best training facility in the game, an already top quality squad, some of the very best youngsters on the planet and now this.

I imagine there won't be a top bracket player out there who wouldn't spunk on the spot if we fluttered our eyelashes at them now.

Shit just got incredibly fucking real kids.
