Stop being sarcastic and try and engage your brain. Look at the starting line up for all 3 games, do you honestly think that any of those line ups will be our starting 11 next season?

out of our mega million starting strikers, only two of them played in any of the games, the same game, today. out of those two, one of them for only 20 minutes. The other? his first time playing with any of our other players. Moving back to midfield, our most influential midfielder who also happened to be our player of the year was absent. Barry, Adebayor, Weiss and De Jong in my opinion, played well and were impressive but you can't expect a handfull of players to dominate a game when the rest of the team essentially know they won't be starting next year.

Don't agree with your assessment of Adebayor at all. He was high quality, making good runs, his 1st touch control was superb, his layoffs were excellent and its great that we now have a big target man. An excellent acquisition and very positive for the new season.

I agree, real quality Adebayor. Poor performances for me from SWP, Bellamy and Petrov in first half. Good ones from Ade, Bridge and de Jong. Second half Ade again showed his class together with de Jong, Barry and zaba. SWP continued to run or pass straight into defenders. Apart from the odd touch Bellamy again pretty poor for me. These comments ignore effort as you should get that from the least skilled. I have commented purely on end product.

Effort should be a given anyway.....players who get in teams purely due to effort are overrated, at the level we are at players need high technical ability aswell....noone gets in a top 4 team purely on effort alone. Bellamy can be sold for me, not just on todays showing, i just dont rate him..........
