Sunderland must do without skipper Lorik Cana for today's game against Manchester City due to suspension.

The Black Cats will also have do without Andy Reid and Lee Cattermole, Jordan Henderson and Kieran Richardson are all doubts, however David Meyler will be available for selection.

City are without Emmanuele Adebayor due to suspension and Martin Petrov and Michael Johnson are long-term absentees with injury.

Massive game for us today, if we are serious for 4th place need to back up the Chelsea result with a good solid performance today and hopefully grab a 1 or 2 nil victory. Sunderland are not a good team and tis is the kind of place top teams should do a professional job and take the points home, we ust haven't though over the past 18 months. I have a real fancy for Adam Johnson to get his first goal for us today, I hope my intuition is on the ball.
If we defend sensibly we should nick it, defending sensibly isn't always our strong point however.
