The line up against Liverpool was suited to the way they play, more by accident than design because thats all Hughes knows, today the same line up was tried against a team who dont play narrow, west ham play short sharpe passing through a defence, instead of liverpools long balls across to the open side.
It was not a failure of the players, it was yet another example of Hughes complete lack of common sense in the basic`s, the best players in the world can not compensate for being in the wrong place at the wrong time thanks to his clueless one unflexable tactic
to be fair hughes as not got the players to play any other system at the moment i,m sure if he had an left winger he would not be playing the 4-2-3-1 i,m sure its would be 4-4-1-1 but what i would say is a don,t think he,s nos who he would drop
my money would be that he would drop nedum which i think would be very wrong lets just see robbie looked like he picked up a nasty injury today and if thats right he has the ieal oppurtunity to change tactics
