The initial premise that this was what it was like before is just not true. You’re saying for thousands of years humans have “all” had this simplistic binary view of “a man is man, a woman is woman”. Ever heard of hermaphroditism, for a start? Not everything is so black and white.

So you don’t think it’s true that for the whole of history people have thought men are men and women are women ?
Thought that men carry huge physical advantages over women in strength power and speed ? That men can’t have babies?
I’d say the simple fact there’s always been a men’s and women’s category in sports proves that this is what everyone thought

Hermaphroditism is an extremely rare case and shouldn’t be used to disprove there’s male and female
Some people are born missing fingers but if we’re ask how many fingers a human has we all answer 10 as that’s the norm
You can’t use extreme examples to prove a point, there will always be exceptions to the rule
