Just replying to an enquiry for a contract from an artists commune/workshop and the lady in question has signed her name and in brackets next has put ( she/her ). Now, not wishing to offend anyone and certainly not wishing to take the piss I had to phone my daughter up to ask for her guidance, after all in this day and age you never know who's what or whom. After going on in great detail and completely loosing me in the process I now know what to do. Then she started on a book my grand daughter has that she's going to let me read...apparantly my shadow is purple for some reason.
In my days and in my world I keep things simple. I'm not surprised the yoofs of today have so many 'mental health issues' FFS, they bring it on themselves.
Stop the fucking world please, I'd like to get off.

How does it impact your life? If this issue, which according to the last UK census only impacts <0.1% of the population, is such a drastic change then you can surely provide me one example of how it has disrupted your life.

Maybe it's my age but the lady in question who signed off the email finished it as....Scarlett Rebecca (she/her)
So I initially thought that she was the first lady and Rebecca was her partner hence the ..She / Her.
Then I thought maybe that was her full name ie Mrs Scarlett Rebecca, Nah !!. So then I thought the two names were her first and second forenames, but why the ( she/her ) and why not her surname.....so hopefully you can see the confusion with a non politically correct old fart as me.

The initial premise that this was what it was like before is just not true. You’re saying for thousands of years humans have “all” had this simplistic binary view of “a man is man, a woman is woman”. Ever heard of hermaphroditism, for a start? Not everything is so black and white.
